"Meat" Me In Memphis: The Memphis Blues BBQ House Robson Street Grand Opening

On Tuesday, The Food Gays had the chance to hit up the new Memphis Blues BBQ House on Robson Street. The store has been open a little over a month now, but they were so kind as to envite bloggers and other food enthusiasts down for an all you could eat FEAST! 

The setup inside was a pure SMORGASBORD of goodies. First up, the Memphis pork rib ends, and pork side ribs. Yum!

Their famous Memphis pulled pork, left, which was Adrian’s favorite of the night.  The Beef Brisket, right, were also great.

Memphis Blues BBQ sauce, left, and memphis Pit Beans, right — which were phenomenal! Adrian doesn’t even like beans, and these had him raving about their sweet, delicious flavour and aroma. So good!

Pure goodness — Jeremy went back for seconds!

Ashley and her father, David, the owners of the new Robson location. 

We had the chance to chat for a few minutes with them, and they were really sweet. It was nice to meet the faces of the people who own the place, and you could tell they are really passionate about what they do. 

The iconic line of Memphis Blues BBQ sauces and rubs, above. We scooped a couple bottles of their Carolina Mustard flavour in our goodie bags, which we’re eager to try!

Thanks again to the whole team at Memphis Blues BBQ for having us. We don’t usually eat a lot of red meat, but we’ll definitely be back!
